PRP EPL-7 “Blackout” | Real-Time Sci-Fi Weapon

EPL-7 “Blackout” is a personal hard surface weapon project designed and developed from scratch for real time applications in Unreal Engine.

The project focuses on functional mechanical design, modular construction, close range readability and gameplay oriented implementation for first person perspective applications. Current development includes animated sight mechanics, emissive state transitions, recoil systems, thermal distortion experiments and Blueprint based interaction workflows.

The asset is currently optimized to approximately 103k triangles and uses 3 texture sets separated by POV exposure and asset scale priority. Several modular elements were intentionally preserved as separate geometry pieces to support potential destruction and gameplay related workflows.

Created as part of an ongoing exploration into real time hard surface production for games and cinematics.

Still work in progress.
